Considering the uniqueness and cost of SMYSE carpet, and in order to protect our customer's rights and preventing any abuse, the following features have been put in place: The SMYSE logo and a unique serial number are assigned to each and every carpet. The Certificate of Authenticity is provided by our official sales partners. This printed certificate lists the serial number of your carpet and includes full details of it. Customers need to register their carpet with us to qualify for the carpet’s guarantee. By registering your carpet with us you can also double check the authenticity of the certificate you have been given and hence the authenticity of your carpet.

When it comes to choosing carpet, if allergies or asthma are an issue in your household, it’s important to consider the type of material carpets are made from and other characteristics that might make them more or less allergy-friendly. If you are sensitive to allergies the best option is to always go with natural wool carpet. Natural wool is not synthetic and is gentle on your skin. The lack of moisture in wool makes it difficult for dust mites to survive which is a major cause for those with allergies and asthma. Also certain man-made fibers (such as nylon, olefin, and polypropylene) are naturally mold- and mildew-resistant, which can help cut down on allergic reactions.

It is our goal to create a unique and special product for all our clients.

Because of this, we have made it possible for many of our designs to be custom sized and shaped (round, oval, and irregularly edged), extra large, or custom colored to meet the needs of a particular project.
Creating a custom rug is a rewarding experience. Unfettered by the limitations of stocked rugs, you can design your own pattern and choose your color palette, shape, size, and material. We specialize in providing the highest quality of hand-knotted rugs. Each rug is hand-knotted to the customer’s specifications, including the choice of weave and the intricacy of the design. The available materials include wool, silk, viscose, and more. These rugs are made with the highest craftsmanship in traditional to modern designs. With this type of custom rug, it would first be designed using an artist’s full-color rendering. After approval of the design and color on paper, a corner sample would be made for ultimate approval before the rug is made. This process can take three to seven months from start to finish, or longer depending upon the size and complexity of the rug. Bring us your rendering, and we’ll help you transform it into a work of art. Additionally, all of our existing hand-knotted rugs can be customized to your specifications for a surcharge if the shape and size you need is not available. You just select the design you want and specify the product’s shape and size and let us take care of the rest. The lead time for these custom products ranges from three to five months or longer.     You will receive an "After Sales Service Card" along with your certificate when you purchase a SMYSE carpet. We also provide lifetime professional advice for the maintenance and future sale of your hand-made carpet.

  • When you buy an SMYSE carpet you will receive a certificate of authenticity. You need to register your SMYSE carpet on our website as soon as you purchase it to check its authenticity and be eligible for the guarantee. SMYSE guarantee their works of woven art for 20 years from the production date.
